Seaklub Samana

Tucked into a five-star all-inclusive resort in Las Terrenas, Seaklub Samana is a cozy, family-friendly PADI 5 Star Dive Center where two PADI instructors keep the atmosphere personal and the focus firmly on getting you underwater. Beachfront facilities, an onsite training pool and classroom, and a house reef make it an easy fit for first-timers and qualified divers alike, with parking available even for those not staying at the hotel.

Courses and diving

The center runs seven courses and activities, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 99) and the PADI Open Water Diver Course (from USD 309) through to PADI Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response. If you'd rather just get wet, morning dives to discover the seabed of Las Terrenas start from USD 115, with boat trips heading out daily when ocean conditions allow, sometimes straight from the resort beach.

Beneath the surface you might cross paths with sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals and anemones. Instruction is offered in English and Spanish, with scuba equipment rental on hand.
