About Son Bou Scuba
Set on Menorca's south coast, Son Bou Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort whose central location lets divers reach the island's best sites whatever the wind direction. Family-run since 2004, with more than 30 years of professional experience and a passion for the underwater world, the centre pairs new equipment with genuinely small groups — never more than 6 people, and often fewer.
Courses and who it suits
Training runs privately or semi-privately, from PADI Discover Scuba dives in the sea for beginners aged 10 and up to the PADI ReActivate Scuba Refresher, PADI Open Water Referral Part 2, and PADI Cavern Diver. Five PADI instructors work in six languages, and special kit for children is available. Conditions help: water around 28 degrees and average visibility of more than 30 metres.
Beyond the dives, afternoons bring boat snorkelling excursions in the Northern Marine Reserve. The onsite shop stocks Aqualung, Apeks, XDeep, Fourth Element and Shearwater, backed by an Apeks Servicing Centre and ample parking. Divers of all backgrounds and abilities are welcome.

★ 5 · Richard Hogg · 2012-08-03In over 20 years of diving on almost every continent I have not come across a better set up. Muriel, Joop and Nikki are an outstanding team. They use first class equipment and accomodate your diving needs even in the busiest part of the year. I was diving for the first time with my son this year and he is 12 and did a two tank try dive, he enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later for his second outing to a different dive site. Well done guys and I know I'll be seeing you again. Richard

Although I was slightly apprehensive I needn't have worried as Muriel was brilliant. She was great with all of us but was always by my side if I needed her. By the end of our holiday we completed a further two dives and we now all feel quite confident. Muriel, Joop and Nikki were very friendly, helpful and professional, we will definately be going back!
