Speedywater

Speedywater is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center on the waterfront in Gijón, Spain, staffed by three PADI Instructors who bring a genuine sense of fun to their diving. It's a full-service operation with its own dive boat, a retail shop, equipment sales and scuba rental, and easy parking — everything you need to get in the water and back out again.

Courses and who it suits

Beginners can start with the PADI Open Water Diver Course, from USD 455 over approximately four days, while certified divers looking to go further can take on the PADI Deep Diver course, from USD 299 and also around four days. With instruction available in both English and Spanish, the centre works well for local and visiting divers alike.

The waters here are home to sharks, whales, turtles and more, making Speedywater a solid base for anyone keen to build skills and explore the coast around Asturias.
