Stavern Dykkersenter

Tucked away in Stavern on Norway's southern coast, Stavern Dykkersenter is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center where two PADI instructors guide divers from their very first breath underwater through to more advanced training. It's a welcoming base for anyone curious about diving in Norwegian waters, with classes and conversation available in both English and Norwegian.

Courses and what to expect

The team runs the full PADI pathway, from the Basic Course through Advanced and Rescue, alongside a range of specialty courses including Dry Suit, Wreck and Nitrox. Beyond scuba, the center's offering extends to PADI Freediving, Snorkelling and First Aid (EFR), so there's a route in whatever your interest or experience level.

Facilities are geared toward making dive days easy, with an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, parking and a dive boat. A house reef sits right on the doorstep for convenient diving, and the center handles air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, and scuba and kids' equipment rental.
