Submarine Diving Centre

Run by the Koralage family since 1991, Submarine Diving Centre is a family-owned, PADI 5 Star Dive Resort on the waterfront in Galle, Sri Lanka. Decades of experience and a team of 4 PADI Instructors have made it a name for world-class diving, welcoming everyone from first-timers taking their initial breaths underwater to seasoned divers refining their craft or training toward a career in diving.

Courses and dive sites

The course menu runs the full PADI path: PADI Discover Scuba Diving for beginners, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Wreck Diver and Emergency First Response, alongside a Morning Single Dive from USD 35. Local diving spans reefs and historic shipwrecks, with dive sites including Gala Pita Gala, Aluth Gala, Napolioan Reef, and the wrecks SS Orestes and S S Rangoon.

Underwater, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and anemones. With an onsite classroom, dive boat, free Wi-Fi, onsite accommodation and English and Russian spoken, it suits divers of every level.
