Taganga Dive Station

Set in Taganga, a fishing village full of history, tradition, and culture, Taganga Dive Station is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort surrounded by 4 mountains and close to Tayrona Park and the city of Santa Marta. The setting gives divers access to a great ecosystem full of reefs, corals, and truly unique marine species — along with the kind of sunsets that leave you enchanted.

Courses and diving

With 5 PADI Instructors on the team, the centre suits everyone from first-timers to divers ready to go deeper. You can try the Minicurso de buceo en Tayrona (Discovery Scuba Diving), work toward your Open Water Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver through e-learning, or build technical skills on the Deep Diver Course.

Local dive sites include Morrito Largo, Calichan, Black Jungle, Las 3 Piedras, Punta Aguja, El Cantil, Granate, and Punta Betin, where you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, and ocean fish. Instruction is offered in a range of languages including English, Spanish, French, German, and Hebrew, making it a welcoming base for divers arriving from all over.
