Tayrona Dive Center

Tayrona Dive Center brings more than 30 years of diving experience to Santa Marta, Colombia. Founded by José A. Peláez "Muñeco," a countryman devoted to the sea and marine conservation, the center was created to share the natural wonders of Tayrona National Natural Park with the diving community, holding to high standards of quality, safety and professionalism. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, it is endorsed by PADI and staffed by PADI professionals.

Courses and diving

Whether you're starting out or building skills, there's a path here: the PADI Open Water Diver Course (E-learning) and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, plus shorter options including PADI Discover Local Diving, a half-day dive outing (Salida de buceo de medio día), and a mini course. Underwater, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, corals, anemones, jellyfish and more.

Facilities include a dive boat, retail shop, free Wi-Fi, Nitrox, equipment sales and adaptive services, with English and Spanish both spoken — well suited to visitors of all experience levels.
