The Wave Scuba Dive Center

Welcome to The Wave Scuba Dive Center, a PADI Resort based in Santa Marta, Colombia. This is a place where you don't just get your dives done — you join a friendly environment, sharpen your skills as a certified diver, and keep learning about marine life along the way. A team of 3 PADI Instructors guides every step, with lessons supported by an onsite training pool and a dedicated classroom.

Courses and local diving

New divers can start with Wave One, the PADI Open Water Diver course, which runs from USD 405 over approximately 3 days. From there, the local dive sites of Remanso and Granate offer the chance to put new skills into practice. The waters here are home to an impressive range of marine life, including sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, corals, eels, molluscs and crustaceans.

The center welcomes English, Spanish and Portuguese speakers, with other languages available on request, making it well suited to international divers. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, a dive boat, parking, air fills, equipment sales and a full range of rental gear — plus adaptive services and conservation activities for those who want to give back to the ocean.
