Tucked away on the South East side of Roatán, Honduras, Tortuga Dive Center is a boutique, family-run PADI Dive Center with a simple philosophy: keep the groups small so every diver has room to breathe. That intimate approach means you and your loved ones can enjoy the dive sites at your own pace, with a team that goes out of its way to make the experience unforgettable.

Courses and who it suits

Learners looking to progress will find focused instruction here, with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course from USD 380 over roughly two days, and the PADI Rescue Diver course from USD 397 over about three days. With one PADI Instructor and lessons run in English and Spanish, it's well suited to divers who want personal attention rather than a crowded boat.

Tortuga is also known for its conservation streak, always seeking new ways to protect the underwater environment and happy to get guests involved. Above the waterline you'll find an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat, onsite accommodation, food and drinks, and parking — everything for an easy, waterfront diving base.
