Tropical Diving & Watersports

Tucked into a waterfront setting at Bamburi Beach Hotel on Mombasa's North Coast, Tropical Diving & Watersports is a PADI Resort offering scuba diving and glassbottom boat excursions in Kenya. With one PADI Instructor on hand and instruction delivered in English and German, it's a welcoming base for first-timers and returning divers alike.

Courses and dives for every level

The centre runs eleven courses and activities, from a PADI Discover Scuba Diving taster and the two-day PADI Scuba Diver to the four-day PADI Open Water Diver Course. Half-day dive trips start from USD 95, while multi-day options include a 3 Day Dive Package and a 5 Day Dive Package. Certified divers can also book a PADI Scuba Refresher to shake off the rust.

Facilities include an onsite training pool and classroom, free Wi-Fi, a dedicated dive boat and parking, plus air fills and scuba and kids' equipment rental. Out on the water, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles and a wealth of ocean fish.
