Under Hundred

Tucked into a fenced waterfront base in San Vito Lo Capo, Italy, Under Hundred is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center built around small groups and unhurried days in the water. Roberto guides no more than four or five divers per dive; when the group grows, another divemaster joins or extra dives are added. Between dives, divers and friends can rinse and hang their gear, or simply rest on the amacs, away from the crowds and the noise.

Diving and courses

Dives are scheduled at 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, with additional slots possible at 11:30 am and 5:00 pm. Thanks to the short runs on fast boats and the small numbers aboard, each dive usually takes around two hours. Two PADI instructors teach the PADI Open Water Diver [eLearning] and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver courses.

Local dive sites include Grotta dei Gamberi, Cala Rossa Shoal, the Kent Wreck, the Capua Wreck and Tonnara del Secco, with the chance to encounter sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. With air fills, scuba and kids' equipment rental, and English and Italian spoken, it suits divers who value a calm, personal pace.
