Ventotene Diving Academy

Founded in 2000 by Antonio Santomauro and Salvatore Matrone — two friends and experienced divers originally from the island — Ventotene Diving Academy blends friendliness with professionalism and, above all, a sense of pure fun. Today it holds PADI 5 Star IDC status and operates within the Protected Marine Area of Ventotene and S. Stefano, running daily excursions to the most beautiful dive sites around the two islands.

Courses for every level

PADI courses are offered at all levels, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving and the Open Water Diver Course through to Rescue Diver. You'll also find specialties such as Enriched Air Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and ReActivate, plus Emergency First Response training. Air fills, nitrox and equipment rental are available, and the center has an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi and its own dive boat.

Underwater, the marine area is home to sharks, whales, turtles, corals, anemones, molluscs and crustaceans, eels, echinoderms and ocean fish. With staff speaking English and Italian, it suits divers seeking a relaxed, professional base in a protected Mediterranean setting.
