Unisub Estartit

Set on the waterfront in L'Estartit on Spain's Costa Brava, Unisub Estartit puts you within easy reach of the marine nature reserve of the Medes Islands and its many dive sites. This PADI 5 Star CDC centre is staffed by 7 PADI instructors and welcomes divers in English, Spanish, Dutch, French, German and Catalan.

Courses and diving

With 27 courses and activities on offer, there's plenty to suit newcomers and returning divers alike. PADI Discover Local Diving starts from USD 107, while more focused programmes range from Project AWARE Specialist and PADI ReActivate to Underwater Videographer, Digital Underwater Photographer, Adventure Diver, Search and Recovery, and Full Face Mask Diver. Enriched air (Nitrox) is available for those who want longer bottom time.

Local sites such as Tascó Gros, Reina, Salpatxot, Illa Ferriol and Pedra de Deu offer varied diving, and the centre has its own house reef right on the doorstep. With an onsite classroom, dive boat, retail shop and equipment rental, Unisub Estartit is a well-rounded base for exploring the underwater world of Catalonia.
