ZOEA Aguilas

Tucked along Spain's Murcian coast in the town of Águilas, ZOEA Aguilas is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort that trades crowds for calm. The dive boats board just five metres from the centre, the beach is right outside the door, and a 4-star hotel sits about five minutes' walk away — an easy, comfortable base for a diving getaway in Águilas and Calabardina.

Courses and dive sites

Four PADI Instructors run a full slate of training, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Discover Local Diving to Rescue Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air and Equipment Specialist. Refresher and Emergency First Response options round out the twelve courses and activities on offer.

Local dives explore sites such as Cala Abierta, Cueva de la Virgen, El Tubo and Calarreona, with marine life spanning ocean fish, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and more. With an onsite pool, classroom, dive shop and Nitrox, and staff working in English and Spanish, it suits first-timers and returning divers alike.
