About Jakaré

Built in 2017 with traditional Indonesian design and modern comforts, Jakaré is a 35-metre liveaboard that cruises the waters of Indonesia year-round. With space for just 12 guests across five cabin types and nearly a 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio, she's ideally suited to small groups, families and friends — snorkellers included.

Diving Komodo and beyond

Jakaré's routes take in some of Indonesia's most celebrated diving, from Komodo National Park and the Banda Sea to sites like Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Batu Balong, Golden Passage and Manta Point. A ten-night crossing between Sumbawa Besar and Labuan Bajo builds to roughly 25 dives, opening with an easy check dive at Pulau Moyo and later reaching Saleh Bay, where whale sharks gather in its sheltered waters.

Back on board, en-suite and air-conditioned cabins, warm-water showers and daily housekeeping keep things comfortable. A shaded dive deck with Nitrox, camera station and two tenders supports the diving, while kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, a library and observation deck fill the hours between.
