Acapulco Scuba Center

Operating in Acapulco, Mexico since 1990, Acapulco Scuba Center is a PADI Resort backed by a team of 8 PADI Instructors, with staff who speak both English and Spanish. The center has built its name on diving courses, underwater photography, and equipment sales.

Courses and what to expect

The training programme spans PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI Freediving, PADI Snorkelling, and PADI First Aid (EFR), supported by an onsite training pool and classroom. Air fills, nitrox, and mixed gas are available, alongside rental gear for scuba, freediving, kids, rebreather (CCR), and scooter (DPV). Conservation activities and a dive club round out the offering.

From its waterfront base with a dive boat, divers here can encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, sharks and rays, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones, and jellyfish. With air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, parking, and food and drinks on site, it suits everyone from first-timers to technical and freediving enthusiasts.
