Acqua Sub

Acqua Sub is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort based in Vitória, Brazil, set close to Vitória International Airport, local restaurants, and Camburi beach. The dive boat is docked inside a traditional fishermen's village, so there's local culture to soak up once you're back on land — a relaxed home base for a full range of diving.

Courses, sites, and who it suits

A team of five PADI Instructors teaches across the spectrum, with courses including the PADI Open Water Diver Course, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, and PADI Emergency First Response (EFR). Tec offerings extend up to Trimix, and there's a Discover Scuba Diving program for those not yet certified, making the center a fit for complete beginners through to technical divers.

Diving centers on the spots around Guarapari, 50 km from Vitória, where the boat departs. Sites include the wrecks Naufrágio Bellucia and Naufrágio Victory 8B, plus Ilhas Rasas (Shallow Islands) and Escalvada Island, with marine life ranging from sharks, whales, and turtles to eels, molluscs, corals, and ocean fish. Staff speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
