Acquasport

Founded in 1980 by Emilio Rota — the first PADI Instructor in Italy — Acquasport has grown into one of the country's foremost names in professional dive training. Operating twelve months a year from its base in Lecco, the centre has earned PADI's prestigious Career Development Center title and today ranks as a PADI 5 Star CDC, backed by a team of 10 PADI Instructors.

Built for divers who want to go pro

Each year Acquasport certifies more than 40 PADI Instructors and issues over 200 professional and specialty ratings, alongside DAN and DSAT instructor training at every level. The teaching menu spans PADI Scuba Diving, TecRec, Freediving, Mermaid and Snorkelling, plus EFR first aid and conservation programmes — making it a natural fit for anyone aiming to build a career underwater.

Local diving unfolds at sites including Le Macchine, Rapa Nui – Moregallo and Juancito. On land you'll find an onsite classroom, retail shop, air fills, nitrox and mixed gas, plus a full range of rental equipment. English and Italian are both spoken.
