AfroScuba

Tucked away in Kuala Dungun, Terengganu, AfroScuba is a small, friendly dive centre with a big philosophy: bring the fun to every dive while holding zero tolerance for anything less than safe. As a certified PADI Dive Resort, it runs daily diving trips out to Pulau Tenggol and keeps things personal, with experienced PADI instructors and dive guides guiding the way.

Courses and what to expect

The centre offers a full range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through Advanced, Rescue and Divemaster, plus a selection of specialty courses. With an onsite training pool, a dedicated classroom and air-conditioned comfort, it's a relaxed place to learn, whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or building toward a professional rating.

Around Dungun, divers share the water with sharks, turtles, whales and rays, alongside eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals, anemones and reef fish. With onsite accommodation, equipment rental, air fills and conservation activities, and staff speaking English and Malay, AfroScuba suits new and returning divers alike.
