★ 4 · Jim Kerr · 2009-03-08I was in Akumal the last two weeks of Feb. 09. My son, who is 20 took his open water cert with Mauro. I dove with them twice and it was a great experience. Mauro was an excellent instructor and was very attentive to our needs. I would recommend diving with him to anyone. My only complaint is we did two dives rather quickly with a 30 SIT in the boat. I got cold as I ony wore a shorty. Water was provided.
