Amphibian

Amphibian is a PADI Resort dive centre based in Scalea, on the coast of Italy. Its motto says it all — "immergiti con anfibio… noi siamo DIVERSì" — a playful nod to a team that prides itself on doing things a little differently. If you're looking for a welcoming base to explore the underwater world along this stretch of the Italian coast, this is a centre built around that spirit.

Courses and instruction

As a PADI Resort, Amphibian offers PADI scuba diving instruction, so whether you're taking your very first breaths underwater or building toward more advanced certifications, you'll be learning within the globally recognised PADI system. Training here is led by Gianluca Mauro, a personal IDC PADI instructor (N. 981.000), which means you can expect attentive, experienced guidance throughout your time in the water.

The centre suits divers who value a personal, hands-on approach over a high-volume operation — ideal for newcomers wanting careful coaching and for certified divers keen to dive the waters around Scalea with a knowledgeable local team.
