Aqua Safari

Aqua Safari is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center on the waterfront in Cozumel, Mexico, staffed by four PADI Instructors and welcoming divers in both English and Spanish. It's built around an impressive fleet of modern, custom dive boats — the Ocean I, a 35-foot vessel that was the first custom-built dive boat on the island, the 38-foot Delta boats Ocean II and III, and the 35-foot Ocean IV. Each is a fiberglass V-hull, diesel-powered for safety and to keep the environment clean, with large swim platforms and underwater ladders for easy entry and exit.

Who it suits

With an onsite training pool, classroom, and an Adaptive Services Facility, Aqua Safari works for everyone from newcomers to seasoned divers. Air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, and a full range of rental gear — including children's sizes — cover every level of diver, and there's onsite accommodation, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, and parking on site.

Cozumel's waters bring encounters with sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones, and plenty of ocean fish. The Ocean I and IV carry up to 12 divers, while Ocean II and III take up to 16, keeping groups comfortable above and below the surface.
