Aquabase Scuba Diving

Aquabase Scuba Diving is a PADI dive centre in Kuching, Malaysia, offering a welcoming starting point for locals and visitors alike to get in the water and earn their scuba licence. Operating since 2011, the centre is led by an instructor with more than 20 years of diving experience, supported by a team of two PADI instructors who teach in English, Mandarin, Malay and Chinese.

Courses and local diving

The centre runs a full range of PADI courses, from the PADI Open Water Diver Course and Advanced Open Water Diver right through to the PADI Wreck Diver specialty, all available with e-learning. Kuching is known for its wreck diving and plenty of macro life across the reefs, with dives at sites such as Satang Island and the Katori Maru.

Facilities include an onsite classroom, a waterfront location, a dive boat, onsite accommodation and parking, plus air fills and equipment rental. It's a solid fit for complete beginners chasing their first certification and certified divers keen to explore Kuching's wrecks.
