Associazione Diabete Sommerso Onlus is a non-profit dive centre based in Milano, Italy, driven entirely by the volunteer work of its members. Its mission is unusual and clear: to help people living with Diabetes Mellitus explore the underwater world safely, following established protocols and the latest medical guidance.

Courses and community

As a PADI Dive Center with 2 PADI Instructors, the centre offers PADI Scuba Diving courses and PADI First Aid – EFR training. It also works to prepare instructors so divers with diabetes can pursue the sport at diving centres in their own region, with training available across the country.

Divers benefit from an onsite training pool, a dive boat, air fills and a full range of scuba equipment rental. Staff speak English, French and Italian. It's a welcoming choice for anyone seeking a supportive, safety-focused introduction to scuba, and especially for divers managing type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
