Athina Diving

Just 38 kilometres from central Athens, Athina Diving sits right on the coastal road to Sounio, opening the door to the underwater world of the Saronic Gulf. The waters here run crystal clear and blue, scattered with reefs and small islands in an area where pollution is unknown. It's a waterfront base with a house reef right on the doorstep, recognised by the Greek Maritime Authorities and a member of PADI International.

Courses for every level

As a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with 3 PADI instructors, Athina Diving runs the full range of PADI courses, from first-timers through to instructors. Specialties include nitrox, deep, dry suit, multilevel, wreck, night, underwater navigator, boat, search & recovery, peak performance buoyancy and Project AWARE. Technical divers can progress through Tec 40, Tec 45, Tec 50 and Tec Deep, while freedivers can train from free diver up to master free diver.

With an onsite classroom, dive boat, retail shop and equipment rental across scuba, kids' and freediving gear, the centre suits divers of every kind. Staff speak English and Greek, dive sites span Lagonisi and Ag. Marina, and marine life ranges from ocean fish to turtles.
