Auckland Scuba

Auckland Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development and TecRec Center based in Auckland, New Zealand, specialising in Scuba Instructor training. With NZQA-approved full and part-time programs, it welcomes anyone considering a career in scuba diving — and its team of 9 PADI Instructors is equipped to guide you from your very first breaths underwater all the way through to instructor level.

Courses and technical training

Beyond recreational courses, Auckland Scuba offers technical diver training up to instructor level on twinsets, sidemount and rebreathers. On-site facilities include a classroom, retail shop, dive boat and a service department handling air fills, cylinder testing and regulator and BCD servicing, with Nitrox and mixed gas among the gases available.

Local dives take in a variety of sites, from the Rainbow Warrior Wreck and Canterbury Wreck to Blue Maomao Arch, Northern Arch, Goat Island and White Island. English-speaking staff, equipment sales and rental — including rebreather and scooter hire — round out a center built for divers at every stage.
