Blenheim Dive Centre

Blenheim Dive Centre — BDC to those who know it — is one of the oldest dive centres in New Zealand, and a family-run operation with deep roots in the Marlborough Sounds. As South Island's only PADI Freediving facility, it holds a special place at the 'Top of the South', with a Blenheim base that sits central to everything happening in the region.

Courses for every level

This is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, and instructor Bryan guides divers the whole way through — PADI Scuba Diving from Open Water up to Assistant Instructor, and PADI Freediving from entry level right through to Instructor. Having dived the Marlborough Sounds since he was 12, he takes real delight in passing on his experience to everyone who joins.

On site you'll find a classroom, a retail shop and a dive boat, backed by air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, servicing and a full rental range. There's a dive club to join too, making BDC a natural home for anyone learning, diving or freediving in Marlborough.
