Auckland Scuba - Silverdale

Auckland Scuba is a PADI 5 Star IDC and TecRec centre, and it has grown by opening a second PADI 5 Star Dive Centre in Silverdale. Like the flagship location, Auckland Scuba – Silverdale specialises in PADI Scuba Instructor training, with a range of NZQA approved full and part time programs for anyone considering a career in scuba diving.

Courses and technical training

Whatever your level, from learning to dive through to instructor courses, the team's experienced instructors and 5 Star facilities are here to help. The centre also offers technical diver training up to instructor level on twinsets, sidemount and rebreathers, alongside PADI First Aid – EFR and adaptive diving. Nine PADI instructors teach in English and Mandarin.

The on-site dive shop carries a large retail range of international brands, backed by an onsite classroom, dive boat, Wi-Fi and parking. The service department handles air fills, nitrox, trimix and mixed gas, cylinder testing, and regulator and BCD servicing. Join one of the many local and aboard dive trips — diving is what this centre is all about.
