Set on the northern tip of Zanzibar in Nungwi, Awesome Ocean Diving Center is a PADI Dive Center built around a simple promise: professional and friendly care. It's a small, personal operation — one PADI Instructor guiding the diving — which suits divers who'd rather learn and explore in a close-knit group than disappear into a crowd.

PADI scuba diving is at the heart of what happens here, whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or logging fun dives along the Tanzanian coast. Scuba equipment rental is available, so you don't need to travel with a full kit, and the centre runs its own dive boat to reach the water.

The marine life around Zanzibar is the real draw: sharks, whales, turtles and plenty of ocean fish. Between dives there are food and drinks on hand, and briefings can be given in English or French. The centre is open every day of the week, 07:30 AM – 05:00 PM.
