About Spanish Dancer Divers
On the northern tip of Zanzibar in Nungwi, Spanish Dancer Divers is one of the island's first dive centers and sits closest to Zanzibar's best dive spots. A PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with four PADI Instructors, it carries a 20-year record of safety and excellency, making it a reassuring choice for divers of every level.
Courses and dive sites
The center offers two courses and activities, including a 4 Dives Package and 2 Dives at Mnemba Atoll. From its waterfront base you can explore a spread of local sites such as Magic Reef, Turtle House, Popobawa, Kichuani Wall, Aquarian favourites like Aquarium and Big Wall, plus Leven Bank, Leon's Wall and Haji.
Underwater, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans among the reef fish. On land, an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a house reef, dive boat and parking round out the setup, with staff speaking English, Spanish, French and German — well suited to international visitors basing themselves in the north.

The staff were extremely knowledgable, professional, and friendly. My instructor did a great job making the process both educational and fun.

The staff took fantastic taking care of me and my equipement all the time. They took me the best spots for diving all the time and were alway asking me If I agreed with the planing. The managers were more than good! The local divemaster are very good on the boats and underwater they show you everything. Very friendly people aswell! The dive equipement is in good condition, as is the air from the tanks is aswell. I have dived many places in the world, and I was checking all dive centers from Nungwi and Kendwa and I can say that the best impressions from the beginning until the end where fantstic.
