Mafia Island Diving

Set on Utende beach with sweeping views of Chole Bay, Mafia Island Diving is a PADI 5 Star dive center at the heart of the Mafia Island Marine Park. Courses and diving

With four PADI Instructors on staff, the center runs a full course ladder — Discover Scuba Diving, PADI Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy and ReActivate — plus multi-dive packages for those wanting to log more time underwater. Instruction is offered in English and French.

Diving here spans vibrant reefs, walls and exhilarating drift dives, reached both from shore and by boat, with seasonal trips out to mid-ocean sandbanks and uninhabited islands. Explore sites such as Critter's Alley, Tom's Garden, Danii's Reef, Frogfish Town and Nudi City, where sharks, turtles, whales and abundant reef life keep every dive interesting. It suits everyone from first-timers to divers building serious experience.
