Scubafish Dive Center Ltd

Scubafish Dive Center is a PADI 5-star dive resort set on the waterfront at Matemwe, on the north-east coast of Zanzibar. It sits close to the famous Mnemba Atoll, a conservation area of turquoise water and healthy reef measuring around 15 square kilometres, where divers and snorkellers share the water with bottlenose dolphins, turtles, Spanish dancers, giant groupers, sharks and barracudas.

Diving with Scubafish

The centre is staffed by 3 PADI instructors and runs a Half-Day Dive Trip, taking roughly 5 hours, from USD 110. Local dive sites include Kichwani, Wattabomi, Aquarium, Big Wall and Small Wall, with marine life spanning ocean fish, sharks and rays, eels, molluscs, crustaceans and vibrant corals.

An onsite training pool, scuba equipment rental and free Wi-Fi round out the facilities, and the team works in English and French. It suits new divers taking their first breaths as well as certified divers keen to explore the reefs around Mnemba.
