Baby Shark Dive Center

Baby Shark Diving Center is a PADI 5-Star Dive Center and the first PADI Freedive Center in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Run by three PADI instructors, it's a center built around personal attention, safety, and a genuine commitment to growing the local diving and freediving community — whether you're stepping into the water for the first time or logging your hundredth dive.

Courses and dive sites

The team teaches a full range of scuba and freediving programs, including the PADI Enriched Air Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Freediver, Advanced Freediver, and Master Freediver courses, alongside a Leisure Dive Package and Freediver Training. Nine courses and activities are on offer, with instruction available in five languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and Chinese.

Divers explore local sites such as Sapi House Reef, Rons Reef, Sapi Slope, Padang Point, South Reef, The Rock, Hanging Gardens, Macro Haven, and Mikey's Ear, where sharks, turtles, whales, and ocean fish move through the reefs. Set in the heart of Kota Kinabalu and backed by an onsite training pool and classroom, it suits beginners and experienced divers alike.
