Banderas Scuba Republic Romantic Zone

Banderas Scuba Republic is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The center runs two locations in town: the original shop, open since 2005 in Puerto Vallarta's Romantic Zone on Lázaro Cárdenas #230, and a newer site near the famous Malecón on Colombia #1225, where the team handles all scuba logistics and adds specialised gear maintenance and rentals.

Courses and who it suits

With four PADI Instructors on staff, the shop offers PADI scuba diving and snorkelling courses, tours, and gear alongside its retail range. An onsite training pool makes it a comfortable place to learn, while air fills, scuba and snorkelling gear rental — including kids' equipment — support certified divers. That mix suits everyone from first-timers to visitors travelling with family.

Facilities include a dive boat, retail shop, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi and parking. The center is also active in conservation, running conservation activities and a dive club, and its team welcomes guests in both English and Spanish.
