Barat Dive Center

Tucked into the waterfront at Tioman Island, Malaysia, Barat Dive Centre is an internationally recognised PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with five PADI instructors on hand. The island is one of Malaysia's most popular scuba destinations, home to a rich array of marine life including anemone fish, scorpion fish, nudibranchs, turtles, lobsters and sharks.

Courses for every level

Total beginners can dip a toe in with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme, offered in both morning and afternoon sessions from USD 89. Those ready to go further will find the PADI Open Water Diver Course, Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver, plus Emergency First Response training to round out their skills.

The centre makes learning easy with an onsite training pool, a classroom, a retail shop and a house reef right on its doorstep. With a dive boat, onsite accommodation and a team speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Chinese and Indonesian, it suits first-timers and returning divers alike.
