Barefoot Dive Center

Set on the waterfront in Cozumel, Mexico, Barefoot Dive Center is a PADI 5 Star IDC built on safety, professionalism, quality, and service. With six PADI instructors and a close-knit, family atmosphere, the team works to create the kind of welcoming environment they look for when travelling themselves — making memories that last both in and out of the water.

Courses and dive sites

The centre runs eight courses and activities, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water Diver through Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, and Rescue Diver with Emergency First Response, plus Half-Day Dive Trips and its Ocean Defender programme. Guests explore Cozumel favourites including Palancar Gardens, Santa Rosa Wall, Paso de Cedral, Paradise Reef, Chankanaab Shallows, San Francisco, and the C-53 Wreck (Felipe Xicotencatl).

With staff speaking six languages, an onsite classroom, Nitrox, and an Adaptive Services Facility, Barefoot suits everyone from first-time divers to those advancing their training in warm Caribbean waters.
