Batu Batu Dive

Set on Long Beach, Tengah Island, Batu Batu Dive is a PADI 5-Star Dive Resort built for everyone — from first-timers stepping into the water to seasoned certified divers. With courses and programs to match, plus five languages spoken on site, it's an easy fit for divers from all over.

Macro diving and conservation at heart

The 15 dive sites on and around Tengah Island are mostly fringing reefs running from 2 to 20 metres, with exciting topography and little current. The diving leans toward macro, so expect nudibranchs, stingrays and an abundance of reef fish, alongside coral formations so large they rise from around 6 metres to the surface. Lucky divers may also spot bumphead parrotfish, turtles and black-tip reef sharks.

Conservation runs through everything here, with eco-diving practices and a 10-week PADI Divemaster internship for marine biology students. Beyond PADI courses, EFR first aid, snorkelling and conservation activities, the centre offers air fills, equipment rental, a house reef, dive boat, retail shop and onsite accommodation. It's open from early March through to the end of October.
