Big Wave Diving

Tucked onto the Oaxacan waterfront in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, Big Wave Diving is a cozy dive centre where care for guests and marine preservation come first. As a PADI Dive Center with 2 PADI Instructors on hand, it's built for divers who want an unhurried, conservation-minded day in the water rather than a rushed outing.

Diving and conservation

The centre offers PADI scuba diving and snorkelling, along with an active dive club and hands-on conservation activities. You can buy equipment or rent scuba and freediving gear on site, with mask, snorkel, full-foot fins and children's sizes available. The surrounding waters host a rich cast of marine life, from sharks, whales and turtles to eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish.
