Blackpool Area Diving Centre

Operating in Blackpool since 1986, Blackpool Area Diving Centre has spent decades helping newcomers and seasoned divers alike get the most from the water. As Blackpool & Fylde's first PADI 5 Star Centre, it's built a reputation for friendly, no-pressure advice — the kind that helps you find the right course or the right kit to suit you.

Courses and training

The centre offers the full range of PADI training, from first-time scuba and freediving to TecRec, snorkelling, First Aid – EFR and conservation programmes. Courses are led by master instructor David Swift alongside a team of 10 PADI instructors, so there's guidance to match every level and ambition.

On site you'll find a classroom, a retail shop and parking, with services covering air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and scuba rental. There's also a dive club and conservation activities for those keen to stay connected between dives. It suits anyone from curious beginners to experienced divers looking to sharpen their skills, with everything conducted in English.
