Bluewavediving-Zanzibar

Bluewavediving sits on Zanzibar's Michamvi peninsula, in the quieter east of the island far from the bustle of Stone Town. Run by locals Daniel and Idi alongside Lenz, this PADI Dive Center was built around an ecological, community-minded idea: authentic accommodation, traditional food, music and culture, and a close partnership with the people of the region. Beautiful Pingwe Beach and the well-known restaurant "The Rock" sit right next door.

Diving and courses

As a PADI Dive Center with 2 PADI Instructors, the team welcomes guests in both English and German. Divers explore local sites such as Small Wall, where you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles and a wealth of ocean fish.

The waterfront base keeps everything close at hand: an onsite training pool and classroom, a dive boat, and onsite accommodation. Services include air fills, scuba equipment rental and conservation activities, with a full range of rental gear available. It's a natural fit for divers who want genuine local connection alongside their time underwater.
