Born to Dive Centre

Founded in 2023 by a team of passionate divers, Born to Dive Centre grew from freelance roots dating back to 2015 into one of the leading operations on Malaysia's Tioman Island. As a PADI Dive Center with 3 PADI instructors, it specialises in Tioman scuba diving and welcomes guests in five languages — English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and Chinese.

Courses and diving

The centre offers a full range of PADI options, from scuba diving and snorkelling to First Aid (EFR), alongside conservation-focused activities for divers who care about the reef. An onsite classroom and a convenient house reef make it an ideal base for learning and easing into the water close to shore.

Beneath the surface, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, and sharks and rays. On land, the facilities cover the essentials: free Wi-Fi, a dive boat, onsite accommodation, food and drinks, parking, air fills, and equipment rental — including kids' sizes — so the whole family can get involved.
