Cool Zanzibar Water Sports

Bring the same expertise from Hurghada, Egypt to the reefs of Zanzibar with Cool Zanzibar Water Sports, a PADI Resort with more than 25 years of experience running a diving center. With five PADI Instructors, a European and local multilingual team, three boats — two dhows and one fiber boat — and over 90 sets of diving and snorkeling gear, this Kiwengwa-based center is set up to get you comfortably underwater.

Courses and dive sites

Beginners and progressing divers are well catered for, with the PADI Scuba Diver course, the PADI Open Water Diver Course and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification all on offer. An onsite training pool and classroom make learning straightforward, and dives explore local sites including Wattabomi, Aquarium, Muyuni Plate Corals and Leon's Wall.

Marine encounters here can range from sharks, turtles and rays to eels, molluscs, crustaceans and vibrant corals. With services in English, German and Arabic, plus Wi-Fi, parking and full equipment rental, it suits divers of all levels looking for a well-equipped base on the island.
