Dan's Nasty Frogmen

Tucked away on Pulau Sibu near Mersing, Dan's Nasty Frogmen runs a professionally equipped PADI Resort dive base with two PADI Instructors. The team offers PADI courses, boat diving for qualified divers, Discover Scuba, snorkelling trips, plus excursions and trekking on the side.

Diving around Pulau Sibu

The diving here is shaped by volcanic activity and stays relatively shallow, reaching up to 18m thanks to the island's closeness to the mainland — making for nice, safe, easy diving. Expect wide fields of soft corals in a kaleidoscope of colours, countless hard corals and an astounding variety of marine life. Visibility varies but averages around 10m. Because Tanjong Leman is hard to reach, the marine park has never been overrun, so you can dive with a few friends and rarely see another boat.

Boat dives run every morning at 0930 and every afternoon at 1430, with sunset and night diving on request. It suits divers in good health who are comfortable in the water. Facilities include an onsite classroom, house reef, dive boat, onsite accommodation and food and drinks. English is spoken.
