Dive Academy

Dive Academy is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre based in Yeovil, Somerset, with a simple belief: learning to scuba dive opens up a brand new world of excitement and adventure. Whatever you want to achieve underwater, the team is there to help you get there.

Courses for every level

Training runs from try dives all the way through to instructor courses, so complete beginners and aspiring professionals are equally at home. The centre is led by Course Director Darren Hector, supported by four experienced, friendly and enthusiastic PADI instructors who mentor you every step of the way — from your very first breaths underwater onward.

Beyond the onsite training pool, Dive Academy runs a retail shop stocking gear the team would use themselves, plus an equipment servicing centre and an IDEST approved cylinder test centre. With air fills, nitrox, mixed gas, rental kit and a dive club, it suits anyone in the Somerset area looking to start or grow their diving.
