Dive Eco Mergulho

Set on the waterfront at Angra dos Reis in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dive Eco Mergulho is a PADI center that frames diving as a way to reconnect — with yourself and with the natural world. The team welcomes visitors to Rio de Janeiro and neighbouring areas with adventure experiences, PADI courses and guided programs led by two PADI instructors who speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Courses, sites and who it suits

As a PADI Resort, the center offers a full spread of training, from PADI Scuba Diving and Freediving to Snorkelling and EFR first aid, alongside conservation activities for divers who want to give something back. The local dive site of Botinas Islands sits within reach, set among waters home to sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, corals, molluscs and crustaceans, and plenty of ocean fish.

On site you'll find an air-conditioned classroom, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat, accommodation, food and drinks, parking and an Adaptive Services Facility. With air fills, equipment sales and both scuba and freediving rental gear available, it suits first-timers, course students and travelling divers alike.
