DiversInnMX sits on the shores of the Sea of Cortez in La Paz, Mexico — Jacques Cousteau's "Aquarium of the World." As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with a resident PADI Instructor, it's a boutique operation built by divers, for divers, hosting up to six guests at a time for a private, personalized experience.

Courses and dive sites

The training range runs from PADI Discover Scuba Diving and Scuba Refresher through Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air Diver, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Night Diver — spanning first-timers to those building serious skills. On-site training pool and classroom keep learning close to home.

Local diving reads like a greatest-hits list: the sea lion colony at Los Islotes, seamounts such as El Bajo (Marisla), La Reina and La Reinita, and a cluster of wrecks including the Salvatierra Ferry Wreck, Fang Ming and Navy wreck C 59. Divers here encounter sharks, rays, whales, turtles and ocean fish, making it a fine fit for anyone chasing big-animal encounters in the Sea of Cortez.
