Dolphin Diving Center

On the waterfront at Skaleta, Crete, Dolphin Diving Center is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort founded by owner Stelios Asvestadelis, who took his first underwater breath in 1980 and has been building experience around the world ever since. Its waterfront setting, dive boat and onsite training pool make it an easy base for exploring the diving here.

Courses and diving

The center runs PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Snorkelling programmes, along with PADI First Aid (EFR) training in its onsite pool. A dive club, air fills, equipment sales and scuba rental round out the offering, and there's even kids' equipment rental, so families and newcomers are well looked after alongside experienced divers.

Underwater, divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and other marine life. Onsite you'll find air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, parking and onsite accommodation, with staff speaking English, French and German — a welcoming, all-round choice for anyone diving this stretch of Crete.
