European Diving Institute

Based in Agia Pelagia, Crete, European Diving Institute is a club that has offered high-quality scuba diving services across the Heraklion region for the past ten years. As a PADI Resort staffed by 3 PADI instructors, the centre sits right on the waterfront, so the experience begins the moment you arrive.

Courses and dive sites for every level

Whether you're taking your first breaths underwater with a Discover Scuba session or building on existing skills, there's training here for all levels. Beyond recreational courses, the team runs programmes for nitrox, technical and trimix divers, plus freediving (apnea) and commercial diving. With more than 30 dive sites to explore, there's plenty of variety on the doorstep.

Cooperation with hotels across the Heraklion coast, from Fodele to Malia, means transfers to and from your accommodation are part of the offer. On-site you'll find a dive boat, parking, equipment sales, service and rentals. English, French and German are all spoken, and between dives you can relax under the Cretan sun.
