Fun Divers Zanzibar

Fun Divers Zanzibar is the local expert for scuba diving on Pemba Island, Tanzania — and the first locally owned PADI Dive Resort in Zanzibar and Pemba Island. The team is made up of Zanzibaris who grew up exploring these waters as fishermen, so their PADI Pros bring a deep, first-hand knowledge of the reefs and marine life to every dive.

Diving Pemba Island

Pemba offers a wide range of wall and reef dives to suit every level of qualification, with daily excursions to top sites including Swiss Reef, Shimba Hills, Shimba Wall, Njao Gap and Fundo Gap. Most sites are a quick 5–20 minute boat ride away, while Misali Island sits at roughly 60 minutes. Branded Scubapro and Mares gear is provided free of charge.

Courses run from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (from USD 130) through the Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses up to Rescue Diver, taught by the centre's two PADI Instructors. With a focus on personalised service for small groups, plus on-site accommodation and a restaurant, it suits first-timers and certified divers after an exclusive underwater experience.
