Fun Divers Zanzibar

Fun Divers Zanzibar is the local expert for scuba diving and the first locally owned PADI Dive Resort in Zanzibar and Pemba Island. The team are Zanzibaris who grew up exploring these waters as fishermen, and that deep knowledge of the reefs and sea life shapes every dive. With a focus on personalised service for small groups, they run daily excursions from their Nungwi base to the best sites in Zanzibar, including Mnemba Island.

Courses and diving for every level

Zanzibar North offers a huge choice of wall and reef dives that suit every qualification. Beginners can try Discover Scuba Diving from USD 120, while the full PADI pathway runs through the Open Water Diver Course, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver — all led by experienced local PADI Pros.

The waterfront center includes an onsite training pool, a classroom, a house reef, and free Wi-Fi, plus quality branded gear from Scubapro and Mares provided free. A new dive center opened on Pemba Island in June 2024.
